I've got seats at the 40 yard line, but for about a decade I sat in the end zone because my kids couldn't see over the person in front of them, especially when people stood up to cheer.
I've actually grown to like the end zone better than the sideline. It's easier to see the play developing, and except for Big Game there's nobody within three rows of us.
And if you're in 101 you're right next to the tunnel!
I'm in the front row of the upper deck, which is great because there's no one in front of me AND much more leg room!
Back in 2008 & 2009 I sat in that same row even though I had tickets in row 5 of upper deck on the sideline. We sat there because we got GA tickets for my young (at the time) children. They could dash up to the grassy area above the upper sections in the North end zone.
The highlight of those days was definitely watching Chris Owusu's opening kickoff returns. From that area you could see the blocking open up massive gaps and he would just dart through for TDs. Good times.
However, when the team was better those seats in the first row would fill up quickly. Sunny side seats, high in the upper deck at around the 5yd will be the most pandemic friendly seating, if the team is doing well. If the team is only a 5, 6 or 7 win team I am sure there will be lots of space for the few willing to risk their health to watch a group of college guys play a game.
