Phogge got it. Riviera was born in 69 and played in 2013, becoming the last player born in the 60’s active in MLB.
Bob has the right answer to the wrong question. Julio Franco was the las player born in the 50’s to still be playing. He was born in 1958 and his last appearance was in 2007 at the age of 48(!)
Might as well go down the line. Who was the last player born in each decade to play in MLB? Who was the last player born in the 1800s to play in MLB?

Speaking of longevity (and going way, way on an OT tangent), I was amazed to recently learn that 2 grandsons of President Tyler (1841-45) are still alive.
He was our 10th President, and his grandchildren, not great-great grandchildren, are still alive. That's longevity!

Also OT, the last American to receive a Civil War pension just passed away.

Last player born in the 40's was Charlie Hough, who was born in 1948 and played until he was 46 years old, on the 1994 Florida Marlins.
Last player born in the 30's was Phil Neikro, who was born in 1939 and played until he was 48(!) years old, on the 1987 Atlanta Braves.
Last player born in the 1800's was Hod Lisenbee, who was born in 1898 and played until he was 47 years old, on the 1945 Cincinnati Reds.

Bet last Player born 1900-09 to play in the 50s or 60s was Satchel Paige

Yes, Satchel Paige was the last player born before 1910. He was born in 1906, but played until he was 59(!!!); his last season was in 1965, with the Kansas City Athletics. Although he wasn't born in the 1910's, he outlasted the last of the players who were born in the 1910s.

Hod Lisinbee. Anybody remember what a hod carrier was. Tough work, back in the day Weber State players who are friends made money and did their summer weightlifting on the job.
Bobbb ineligible. There was a player who played in the Bigs seven decades after birth. Who?

Shortest used to be Freddie Patek. I think Jose Altuve is the shortest active player. Eddie Gaedel, a little person hired as a stunt by Bill Veeck of the St. Louis Browns.
Heaviest position player is a more interesting question. If I'm being candid, I would say Pablo Sandoval at his peak, nearly 300 pounds. Historically, maybe Bob "Fat" Fothergill, officially listed at 5'10", 230 pounds, but rumored to typically play in the 275+ range. His manager said it was a victory when he once weighed in at 256 pounds. Fothergill got into a drinking contest with Babe Ruth and drank him under the table.
BTW, Babe Ruth didn't get hugely fat until his last two years in the big leagues. Usually he was around 6'2", 215 pounds.

Altuve is correct... 5'5". Good guess on the others but no. One guy is fairly obscure, the other not obscure. Altuve proves that you don't have to be big to have power.

Shortest used to be Freddie Patek.
“How does it feel to be the smallest player in the majors,” a Houston reporter asked Fred Patek in 1968. “A heck of a lot better than being the tallest player in the minors,” countered the rookie shortstop.
BTW, patek means "Friday" in Czech. Freddie Friday.

C.C. Sabathia is enormous. Bartolo Colon is about as big, maybe not quite.
Prince Fielder is a big guy too. Like father, like son.

Biggest ever was Walter Young of the Orioles. 315lbs.
The pitcher was part of a big rivalry.
