I wish we had Langdude's personnel chart for basketball. Would be easier to keep track of scholarships and needs.

Here ya go. I'm not inserting a "redshirt" column because we rarely do that, nor including walk-ons because they rarely play.
| Incoming Frosh | First Year | Second Year | Third Year | Fourth Year |
| Guard | Isa Silva | Michael O'Connell
Noah Taitz | (Tyrell Terry) | Bryce Wills | Daejon Davis |
| Wing/Forward | Harrison Ingram | Ziaire Williams
Brandon Angel | Spencer Jones | Jaiden Delaire | (KZ Okpala) |
| Big | | Max Murrell | James Keefe
Keenan Fitzmorris (RS Soph) | Lukas Kisunas | Oscar Da Silva |
Note our early NBA draft entrants in
(parenthesized italics) and the "holes" they now leave behind. In the day and age of the transfer portal, practically all other schools are able to plug such holes instantly with veteran starting-quality players. We are not. This is WAY more significant in MBB than in football. Transfers absolutely
litter the landscape of the sport unless you're a blue-blood (and even then... Reid Travis played for Kentucky for a year, and I think they have one now too). It's an epidemic. Just from the teams we've played, should've played, or will be playing soon:
- Alabama's starting PG Jahvon Quinerly transferred in from Villanova, and starting big man Jordan Bruner was a grad transfer from Yale.
- 4 of NC A&T's top 6 are all transfers, 2 4-year guys (NC State and VCU) and 2 JuCos.
- CSUN's 2 stud guards who made it rain against us are both transfers - one from Texas A&M and one from JuCo.
- 4 of upcoming opponent Arizona's top 8 are 4-year transfers from Kentucky, Nevada, Georgetown, and Seattle U.
- USC's top 8 are the whale Mobley brothers, another sophomore guard, and
FIVE 4-year transfers.
Just ridiculous.

I think Ashten would make a great middle blocker and should play volleyball and basketball like Kristin Fokl! But I will be satisfied if she sticks with WBB.
Cheers,

It still blows my mind that we're now at 60 posts in the MBB recruiting thread, while the WBB recruiting thread has 436.
Here's a '22 PG offer from NJ, who is averaging 30ppg in the first 5 games of his junior season. Dude can shoot the lights out.

Weird. Denver went to my alma mater, Gill, and I currently live in Denver. I’m taking this as a sign that he’s destined to be at Stanford. The stars are aligned.

Hey, Brevin Knight came from Jersey so maybe that’s a good omen?!

Yes, crystal ball came in this morning in favor of us. He's a big time shooter and will be a good start to the '22 class if he indeed picks Stanford. Need a big man and hopefully Colin Smith after that but who knows how recruiting will go with the way this season ended.

Just learned that Mark Madsen has a son who is about 3 years old. How early can we offer somebody? I'm ok with rolling the dice on him as soon as we find out he takes up basketball.
Which basketball alums have sons nearing college age? Lichti? Reveno? Ramee? Meinert? Wright? Knight? Vlahov? Haryasz? Borchardt? Lee? McDonald? Mendez?

Recruits and parents don't give a shit about the peanut gallery. If they did, FB recruits wouldn't sign anywhere except Alabama/Clemson/Ohio State/Oklahoma, and would drop down to FCS and play for NDSU if those didn't offer.

It's Stanford for Ryan. Another good recruit for Haase.
