That practice is in the gym the volleyball team also uses. I take it there is no reason the volleyball team can't practice there if Hambly wants them to.

If you recall those in San Diego are now leaving for wherever some maybe to Stanford but official practice is still 6 weeks or so away

The Athletic has a preseason story about Stanford WBB. Yes, it's behind a paywall. The Athletic is worth the price to me.

Sounds like Jones is back and ready to play. If so, that is great news.

Look out for a nice deal on Sling or such. Easy to set up, and easy to quit when basketball is over.
(Though for the life of me I don't understand why Pac-12 doesn't just sell their own streaming package).
Because there is an idiot running the network. Considering the limited number of major carriers who handle Pac XII why not gobble up some of that money that die hards send to Sling, Dish, Fubo and others so they can get the feeds. I would be very happy to pay the Pac XII what I am paying Sling and be able to watch any game of any kind.

I wonder if part of Pac-12's deal with the carriers they do have is that Pac-12 can't compete with them by starting their own domestic USA streaming service.
Really, though, a Sling TV or Fubo TV package that includes Pac-12 is pretty cheap. You can even cancel during the off-season.

I'm surprised that we are ~20 days out from the first game, yet we haven't heard about a schedule for the rest of the way.

I agree, but I did read that they are still trying to finalize schedules.. I’m just happy that when you look at scores on ESPN for 11/25/20, you see Stanford listed as having a game.. I cannot wait!!!

Yesterday Tara's introductory online session provided us an opportunity to see the coaches, the newcomers, and the veteran players in a familiar talking-heads Zoom array. Tara introduced each member, sharing a few of her impressions and expectations of each. It was vintage Tara, a bit stiff and controlled sprinkled with a few Taraisms, a style that we’ve come to expect.
In the digital era, perhaps we could find a softer approach—a video of a scrimmage, players showing off their individual on-court skills, or even players spontaneously sharing their personal stories. Perhaps the team and coaches could collaborate in the presentation and not be cast in abbreviated roles. Sure, I’m asking too much, but we have so much potential, so much talent on the team.
I am a fan, because I love to see our women display their talents on the court. And I’ll bet they would be a kick in a less structured event where they could display their off-court personalities as well.

Interesting that even though the 3 writers picked us as the favorite to win the league and a possible #1 seed, with Hays saying that we might have the deepest roster in the country, they didn't really go into too much detail about us as with the other teams.

Practically none. They went on and on about Oregon and gave some analysis to UCLA and Arizona. But just about all they had to say about Stanford is "favorite", "deep" and three player names.

Finally a schedule. It also looks like after Cal Poly, Stanford has Pacific on Nov. 29 and UC Davis on Dec. 11...
