I do think Shaw will run the ball, because that has been working. If it stops working, then we will see. I don't think Stanford wins if they don't score some points in the second half. This would naturally be useful in itself, but it also means we are keeping the ball away from Washington. Our defense has made some plays, but Washington has made some serious "execution errors". If they clean those up, they are dangerous.

I'm sure Washington is saying in the locker room "Guys, we did it last week; we can do it again."
Hopefully we can prevent that. Will turtling work? I'm not sure.

The offense is looking like I hoped they would look from the beginning of the season.

5 possessions, 5 scores. Great mix of run and pass. Hard to fault the game plan and execution of the offense, which I believe is Shaw's department.

Well, Washington's second half offensive surge was pretty predictable. We are going to have to keep scoring.
