The Fresno State game showed that UCLA is vulnerable to quality QB and receivers. UCLA's DBs were schooled by FSU.
I think martyup is absolutely correct about winning the turnover battle. But I don't see a lot of plodding, time-consuming drives by Stanford. I think both teams will score 30+ and it may take 40+ to win.

Super excited to see what happens over the next two weeks.
Not sure that we are a worse match-up for UCLA than anyone else is. UCLA has a very good rushing defense; bad passing defense, but our offense at least makes an effort to be balanced. They might be a bad match-up for a Raid-type offense, but I think we will try to run. Plus, UCLA is third in the conference in interceptions and second in the conference in sacks.
I'm not sure that what happened against UCLA 7 years ago is relevant to Saturday. We beat UCLA last year in overtime; they beat us the year before. We beat them in Chip Kelly's first year. I'm not sure why we have a reason to think we some how have Chip Kelly's number at UCLA.

The most interesting thing about Chipper is that he abandoned his cheesy rapid offense. My theory is that game where we upset them showed the world how to beat it. So he absconded to the pros where he failed and is now at UCLA where he's shown his real water level.
