Wow, Alabama loses on the road as Texas A&M breaks a tie with one second left, kicking a game-winning field goal.
Just when you think you've got it figured out, you are wrong.
The Aggies are in the same division as Alabama, but already have two conference losses (to Arkansas and Mississippi State). So, Alabama still controls its own destiny to get into the SEC championship game, it would appear.

Mike Leach will have his hands full next week......Mississippi State is the Tide's next opponent.

Michigan and Notre Dane both squeak out a win. Michigan covers (barely) the ridiculous 2.5 point spread. And, as mentioned, A&M beats Alabama.
What a crazy season. Georgia now looking like the class of the bunch, and a few good teams in the Big Ten.

UCLA having problems with Arizona.
At least Flemming didn’t miss much at Oracle.
Alabama loss ends longest drought of #1 team losing to a NU ranked team.
Last time was in 2008, USC losing to Oregon State.

In addition, Bama’s string of 100 consecutive wins over an unranked team was broken. And, for the first time, Saban lost to a former assistant.

On the Anybody But Bama bus here.
Definitely want to see Georgia Dawgs pound Bama in SEC Champ game.
Two losses for Darth Saban = OUT.
How about?
Georgia vs CINCI
IOWA vs OKLA for the Playoff.
AZST goes to Rose Bowl.
Their game vs UTAH looks to be best game next week.

Best and certainly the most important. If AZST wins they really do have the inside track in the South, and if Utah wins, they only sort of have it. USC has already lost too many conference games to really have any shot. UCLA has lost 1 conference game, so they are still in it, but it is hard to see them beating Utah at this point. The game is at Utah. Arizona and Colorado are terrible, so they aren't in it at all. The interesting outcome would be Utah beating ARST and losing to UCLA. Both Utah and UCLA play Oregon, AZST does not.
I expect that if AZST beats Utah, the South is over. If they don't, they then need Utah to lose two conference games. Oregon is possibly one. Hopefully Stanford is also one!

They still have Penn State and Ohio State in front of them and even if that all works out, Iowa would be waiting in the CCG. I'm not seeing it.

From the NFL, the Saints are about to win today, and have a bunch of players who attended Stanford or at least had a brush with Stanford in recruiting.
Peat and Adebo starting, and Montgomery getting some run at WR.
Former commit Hill is their x-factor, though he got concussed today.
Former almost commit Winston is their starting QB.
Former recruit Werner who called Stanford his favorite but never got an offer is now a starting LB and led the team in tackles today.
