Outstanding! And the game ball goes to...the entire team for only having 9 turnovers! This is what can happen with you don't have a million turnovers.
Do that again on Saturday, and we we'll have a chance in Pauley as well.

Yippe Ki Yay MoFo!! Took down the Condoms in their own house.
Best thing Hasse did was sit Delaire for most of the 2nd half. He was playing terribly and trying to do it all himself. Angel is a much better team player than Delaire.

The rest of the stats were eerily close:
FGs -- Stanford 24-54 (42.5%) -- USC 22-49 (44.9%)
3 PT Shots -- Both teams 9-21
FTs -- Stanford 9-11 (81.8%) -- USC 8-10 (80%)
Assists -- Stanford 16 -- USC 17

Great team win. Awesome performance from O'connell running the point tonight with no turnovers, diving on the floor for loose balls, and taking a couple charges to spark a run. Overall terrific defense from the sophomore. He gets the game ball from me. Ingram second and then Keefe.
USC doesn't look like a great team (maybe top 20-25 team), although they're record seams to indicate otherwise but I wish them nothing but a good rest of the season so Stanford's resume will look better.

Very happy for this team.
Really seems like a close group of guys, which I’m sure makes success all the sweeter.
I feel like it probably isn’t a coincidence that Stanford found a way to limit turnovers in both games against SC. Hopefully this can become a trend.

Xfinity's feature of automatically extending live event recordings is great... until you start depending on it and then it randomly doesn't kick in sometimes.
My other favorite Xfinity botch these days is when a Warriors game is listed on both NBC Sports Bay Area and ESPN, but NBCSBA has exclusive rights in the Bay Area so it's blacked out on ESPN... but Xfinity records ESPN anyway instead of NBCSBA. So I get two hours of nothing or (lately) ESPNews.

You are correct. USC is #340 in the nation in forcing TOs. We committed just 1 fewer TO than they force on average. This was not "us doing well" on that front; it was basically par for the course for USC's defense.
Limiting our TOs to opponents' averages (or below, but baby steps...) in coming Pac-12 games would be fantastic and show up in the W/L column for sure. We have still been winning games despite not doing so in any other conference game so far. Hopefully a corner gets turned here.

FWIW, UCLA had 14 steals tonight against Cal, so I would expect to see a lot of pressure on Saturday

If we'd had one or two more turnovers, we probably lose this game. I don't have the numbers, but USC was getting some easy buckets off our turnovers.
Also, this makes two straight games now where Brandon Angel calmly hit high-pressure free throws to ice the game. Nice job.

"Stanford" not even found on ESPN's Bracketology page. But "Oregon" is found in the #12 play-in seed column. Obviously beating USC twice as a Top 15 team is helpful, but does the team have a chance to make NCAA field?

Awesome win. Clutch free throws again by Angel. Great time out by Hasse to keep usc from advancing the ball with 14 seconds left. Great rebound by Keefe at the end.
I have Comcast but it’s permanently set to record and extra hour. The key to happiness lol
