Tara has been masterful in her substitutions. Jana playing lights out, keep her on the court. Haley struggling in all facets, keep her on the bench. Next man up mentality. If you're not playing well, someone else is there to take your spot. Hoping for a great 2nd half to close it out. AZ playing tough.

Boy is Jones in a funk. 1-7 shooting and 4 turnovers.
We have 10 assists in 2 quarters. That's good basketball.

We lead 41-33 at the half as we ended the second quarter on a 12-3 run after Arizona pulled within one.
JVG has been a revelation this weekend, 7 made three pointers this weekend, including four today, filling in nicely for Hannah Jump. I am glad she's getting the opportunity to prove her mettle as we really need a steady hand on the point, not just this year, but going ahead.
Brink is also having a great game so far; she already has a double-double (10 pts, 11 rebounds), but perhaps most importantly ZERO personal fouls. She's cleaning up missed shots with o-boards and getting us points and providing interior defense.
Jones is the one with the bad day, just 1/7 from the field as she's not making those layups or midrange jumpers. Plus she has 4 turnovers including a disastrous 30 seconds where she made two consecutive turnovers on the inbounds pass, leading to 4 Arizona points.
Defensively, Arizona is hitting 45% of their shots and even though Reese has two fouls, Thomas, Pellington and Yeaney have been fueling their offense. Even without MacDonald, their offense still has a lot of weapons.

AZ is playing like a top 5 team. They will not give us this game without a fight. We cannot survive one of our famous crappy 3rd quarters in this game.

We lead 55-46 after three quarters; offensively, Brink and JVG are leading the charge. Cameron is dominating the paint going 8/10 coupled with 14 rebounds and also 3/3 from the FT line while Van Gytenbeek is 5/7 from long range.
Reese had three 3-pointers in a row early in the quarter to erase our halftime lead and though Arizona has held tight, we managed to find some breathing room heading into the last ten minutes

Agree. Refereeing in this game has been terrible. Touch fouls get called occasionally, but it’s mostly been “no bone showing, no foul.”

That foul called by Missy on Hayley was absolute bullshite. I replayed it several times and I can confidently say that Missy is the only ref in the Universe that would call that a foul.
