Line is down to -4.5 OSU. That must reflect the QB situation for the Beavs. Nolan's absence should give us a legitimate shot at winning the game. It would probably also be wise to take the under, since it seems stuck at around 56 despite the lowered firepower of the OSU offense. Can Stanford pull it together and defeat a diminished Oregon State team? 24-21 maybe? Time to change the prediction?

If the QB is a turnover machine, definitely. If having a sub-optimal QB makes the Beavs decide to run the ball 40 times, probably not.

Yes, my sentiments, as well. I think they will run and run and run.

I won't lie: I will be firmly rooting for OSU. While one or two more wins this season SHOULDN'T be enough to save Shaw's job, with Muir you never know.
Nope, nope, nope. That is a very "USC" attitude. It is a sin for moral humans to root against their team.
Cheers,
Pete F.
I'll do the dirty work so you don't have to.

As I recall, their 2nd spring QB is supposed to be an excellent passer...but he is inexperienced.

Redshirt freshman, so I guess that means he's an academic sophomore. 6'3", 3 star recruit.

I think he's a "third-year freshman," according to this article.

Three freshman years of college down the drain. He might as well join the freaking Peace Corps!

For those who missed the joke, Spanish trail’s autocorrect substituted “second spring” in for “second string”. This, the joke about him being a sophomore.
