Fran has some kind of wrap on her left forearm, but is practicing and dunking normally.

No video on the stream?

Video is working for me -- just not audio yet.

I got audio to work now. Should be set to go!
A less than inspiring start against the Lions, as Stanford leads 6-5 at the first media timeout.

LOL. pac-12 stream gives me video but no audio.
Some offense would be nice.

I hate coaches that stand on the playing floor like this guy does.
Why do the refs allow this? I would not...one warning, then wham.

Ashten did not look happy in 1st qtr closeup, surprised she's so far down rotation
Haley still forcing passes

I'd be interested to see how Betts handles the quickness of Vanguard. They can be pesky defenders.

Offense has been rough. Jones forcing passes that aren’t there. Iriafen rushing shots.

Sometimes playing up against a team that is super small results in it being hard to get your footing on the offensive end, especially in the paint. It reminds me of that Jayne Appel quote before the Xavier game where she essentials reiterates that she likes playing against similar-sized players.
Very impressed with Lepolo. Good, strong body which will allow her to play physical. We look better when she is running the point than when Haley is running the point. Seems like the plan with a 6'1 point guard in Haley Jones is to get the ball up as fast as possible before a turnover occurs. I'd rather see Haley on the wing and let her run some "point forward" from there, not from the PG spot.
Wow Betts is a more imposing presence than I realized. Glad to see her hit her first two shots.
We look good when we rotate the ball, go back door, keep things moving.
We have to be the deepest team in the country, by far. Especially when Ashten doesn't see playing time in this first half.

Jones is still collecting turnovers.
Betts with two nice touch baskets.

Iriafen was not superwoman after the game started. Nerves?
Really liked Lepola, Nivar, and EN on defense.
Did everyone see the enormous number of switches we made on perimeter D? This does seem different and may be our new way of defending quicker players using our length.

Ashten is now on the court. Jones decided to start playing her game. Jump is a phenom. What great depth we have. This is fun.

I wonder if Tara is purposely gearing Prechtel to be a second half player - she's able to throw a different look at opposing defenses and get teams out of sync with her prowess from behind the arc. It'll be curious to see how the playing time evolves.

She was first off the bench in the 3rd quarter with Nivar and Lepolo.
...blocked a 3-pointer, got a putback basket, rebounded...

It's pretty thin. I guess a Wednesday evening exhibition wasn't a big draw.
