She's really great, enthusiastic and responsive to questions. Talked a bit about her own history playing for Tara: comparison of this team to her 1989_90 team. Teams today, faster and players much more versatile. Responded to questions re players, including that Fran has a tendon problem in her hand, is wearing a splint, affecting her ability to catch and handle the ball. No longer running the Princeton offense, tho still using bits of it. Doing a lot of switching on defense. Best chalk talk I've been to in a long time

I have to say that I am pretty impressed that we are on offense #4 since I've been tracking it.

I was surprised to get word on Fran's injury. I think coach Steding said a sprained ligament. Seeing Fran now, it's wrapped quite a bit.

Just tuned into the Pac-12 channel to see that Utah WBB won by 124-77 over 16th ranked Oklahoma. Wow!

We started off down 6-8, then went on a 17-0 run to finish the quarter.

Jump uncharacteristically went 1-6 from three point range. That was maybe the main reason for the slow start

Stanford shot 53.1 -- 36.4 -- 57.1. Gotta work on those FTs.

Scoring is a multi headed monster, 10 Stanford players have scored, no one dominant

Always nice to be able to hold your opponent under 10 points in a quarter. We did it in both quarters in the half.

I will be truly fascinated to see what happens to the minutes and scoring when we go up against South Carolina. Projecting based on what we’ve seen in the first 4.5 games seems to be a fool’s errand.

Want to see more of Betts. She needs playing time. But I love watching Ashten run the floor, so strong. Hope Betts can learn from her.
