I thought the first foul on Brink was BS--the WSU player just ran into her, and Brink did not move until the crash. The second foul it seemed to me that Brink was moving.

Heh, I thought the second foul was a good call, but the first one was nonsense. On the first one, Cam had both feet set and barely rotated her upper body. The defender ran into her full tilt and would have even if Cam hadn't moved at all.

Well shooting 9 straight FGs makes our offense look a lot better. The second half of the second quarter looked good--Betts especially. Most impressive, I thought, was her scoring through contact even out at 5 feet. Her soft hands are back.

Jones's shooting touch from the elbow is back, she is 5/9.

Jump continues to struggle. But in those games when she hits, it sometimes takes a few shots. 0/3 in the first half, would like to see her start draining them in the second.

Nivar looks confident and made her three. Bosgana had a nifty curl around the basket to make a layup. Great to see those two doing well. Demetre looks good too. Will be interesting to see if Lepolo and Emma-Nnopu come out to start the second half, or whether one or two of the other guards get the nod.

This is fun. It's kind of weird to be the only person clapping for Stanford. If there are other Card fans here I can't hear them.

I just saw an interesting exchange between Haley and the ref at the break. Haley seems to be complaining about something. After that she stopped another ref and spoke to him. Then all of the refs got together and seemed to discuss the issue.

I saw you grab the loose ball at the end of the 1Q. Was fun watching you half get out of your seat at a couple of Stanford's shots in the 1H.

What a fun night. Really impressed with our D. Bosgana is a real asset. She is very good on defense and has a nice shot.

Cam had a hard time getting entry passes deep in the paint and was double teamed all night.

Tough night for Hannah, but others stepped up.

I've got an interesting story about the drive here from Coeur d'Alene. I share later. Gotta get on the road.

Great win and effort from all, especially the bench. Bench play was terrific. Awesome game from Lauren Betts. She earned herself more minutes going forward with tonight's performance. Was great to see.

Martyup has to go to all the games. He is good luck! So nice to see a blowout of a decent opponent on the road with the bench contributing so much. Loved how Betts played (except the bitter end when she over-dribbled a bit). Loved how Bosgana played. Nivar did well too. Demetre played well. Belibi. The whole bench had a good night. Double nice to win with Brink in foul trouble so much. My take is the first foul on her was very iffy but the second was 100% an obvious foul. Jones played well. Great to see her mid-range shooting back in her arsenal more.

WSU is ok but I don't think they match up well with us this season. I can't say enough how great it was to see the team get a nice lead early and keep pulling away aside from a short bad stretch in the second quarter. That's how to do it on the road. Get ahead and don't let them get a sniff of catching up.
