When my daughter told the Xfinity remote to switch to the game when it went off ESPN News, it heard "Stanford Women's basketball" as "Superwoman Basketball".

Now the Brink to Betts High-Low passing is eating them up.
Is the revival of Hi-Lo a turning point for the season? We can hope that this opens up the offense for more than just a couple of quarters.....

That might be the worst layup ever.
On the positive I think this is what the team needs to do. Just pound people to death. It’s not quite the absurd lineup I had after Washington, but this is the right idea. Or at least until/if they get pressed out of it.

Tara praises Betts and says she will play more, also praises Nivar.
Brink is showing her versatility--she is a very good passer. She can get it inside to where only Betts can snag it.
Our 1st half defense is excellent on ASU's most significant player. Loville has 0 points and is 0-5.
We need to do better on Martinez. In whack-a-mole there is usually going to to be one that gets away. Currently that is Martinez with 10 points.
6 turnovers in the 2nd quarter marred an otherwise pretty good performance.
We are +11 in rebounds at the half.
Have to believe Arizona will even up some of these stats in the second half. We will need to find other ways to expand our lead.

I'm pretty happy with our first half of play.
Not happy that we only scored 17 in the 2nd and gave up 16. My expectations are high.
The really encouraging thing about leading this game by 11 at the half is that we had a lot of bench minutes played. I love the two bigs hi-lo offense. They can't stop Betts without double teaming her. They can't double team her when Brink/Iriafan/Prechtel is on the floor.

So far, Brink/Betts connection terrific, Haley on fire a lot, Lepolo and Nivar both good. Irirafen has the ball enough to score more points than she does. Hannah 1 for 2? Very interesting game...so far.

Only 1/4 from three. Jump seems to be a decoy, we are going inside. Perhaps that will change in the 2nd half.

UA doing the obvious - trying to press. So far it’s a little annoying but no real impact. If these lineups can handle the press regularly, it’s a big deal.
