I'll take a 29 point and 10 assist first quarter. Not happy that we allowed them 13 points, but 5 of those came from the charity stripe.

Interesting hairstyle for Fran, afro except gathered back in front. Maybe the full afro was blocking her vision a bit when looking upward.
The two fouls on Cam were pretty cheap, especially the second which probably should have been on Haley for pushing the offensive player into Cam. As a result we get to see a lot of Betts, and she's playing well!

If she can maintain this type of shooting down the stretch run, that would be awesome and will punish defenses for sagging off of her

Great first half by Stanford. 54-23. Bench players are shining. Agnes is 4-4 from downtown. We have 19 assists on 21 buckets.

There was one foul everybody thought was on Brink. Actually on Jones.
But stats are messed up. 8 fouls on Stanford but ASU is 6/9 from the line.

I wonder if we could run our offense without Brink having to set screens. It seems that half her fouls come on setting screens and many times the calls are questionable. It seems she is more valuable to have in the game blocking shots rather than sitting on the bench.

Skinner clearly has been influenced by Ari McDonald in her game. She jumps into her defender when she shoots to draw a foul. She also is always ready to make a dramatic flop.
Skinner is really good.

If I'm getting the times right, the play by play says the first one (very early) that the announcers said was on Brink was actually on Jones. That's not the one I thought should be on Jones. Maybe she did something on that first one that I didn't see.

Hehe, I noticed a big smudge on the sleeve on one ASU player's elbow. It didn't hit me that it must be someone's makeup. :-)
