What a cluster ... series that was. We will be lucky to hang on to recruits and players end season if this continues.

RE: Colorado game thread - newguy - 10-13-2023

we can't score, and we can't stop them.

RE: Colorado game thread - old spanish trail - 10-13-2023

ARGGHHHHH

RE: Colorado game thread - PVTree - 10-13-2023

They're beginning to scrimmage, testing out trick plays for future use.

RE: Colorado game thread - d4cohn - 10-13-2023

Sadly, that might be the worst coverage bust I have seen at this level. That level of bust would be bad at the high school level.

RE: Colorado game thread - old spanish trail - 10-13-2023

was that wright? he's our best coverage guy.

RE: Colorado game thread - French Rage - 10-13-2023

Anyone else feel we could just subtly and slowly remove our entire team from the field and slowly sub in local high schoolers with completely different names and the announcing crew would not notice or care?

RE: Colorado game thread - thunder_chik - 10-13-2023

Anyone else find all the hype around "Coach Prime" tiresome?

RE: Colorado game thread - d4cohn - 10-13-2023

Back to back very poor throws.

Yes.  Apparently he's "America's Coach" now.

RE: Colorado game thread - Mick - 10-13-2023

I was afraid of this.

I've been watching the Warriors v. Lakers preseason game. Turned on the Cardinal at 22-0. Ouch.  Haven't seen anything redeeming yet.

RE: Colorado game thread - marchballer - 10-13-2023

Ouch St. John Bosco up 14-0 on Mater DEI at half.

Sounds like Stanford QB recruit Elijah Brown is having a tough night so far.

RE: Colorado game thread - Card07 - 10-13-2023

Looks like a team that has thrown in the towel.  How Muir still has a job is beyond me.

RE: Colorado game thread - PVTree - 10-13-2023

3 drives, 3 touchdowns... Soon to be 4?

Tough to drive without a good quarterback nor a running game (where's Irvin?).

As I was writing this, they score the 4th touchdown.

RE: Colorado game thread - Madera86 - 10-13-2023

80% completion rate? Sanders is just toying with us. It's like practice, without the defense.

RE: Colorado game thread - marchballer - 10-13-2023

Really hope this team gets back to being competitive again soon. Unfortunately the back half of the season doesn’t look promising

It's 4 for 4. And they get more and more poor from a defensive perspective as we go. There wasn't a defender in camera view on the left side of the field.

It was Wright on the 3rd TD.

T
His "gold plated" headphones look about as real as the Domers' helmets. (Meow.)

It honestly does look like at least several players on defense have given up based on their effort.

What's amazing is how much more lopsided would the game be without all the CU penalties.

RE: Colorado game thread - tcufrog - 10-13-2023

I'm generally an optimist having survived my share of disastrous TCU campaigns [lost 20 straight my Jr & Sr. years]. But my optimism is being put to the test. Stanford's defense is nonexistent. The offense is offensive.  And, more significantly, the team appears to be in the process of quitting.  The remainder of this season may well be royally ugly.
