In case you were wondering, FSU gained more than they lost in the portal...on paper at least.  One of their OL transferred to TCU, where he started at left tackle against Stanford (Bless Harris, 6'5" 320 lbs).

Forget Florida State. I was really impressed by BC's OL. 263 yards rushing with 3 different players over 75 yards. Pretty good for a 1st year head coach in his first game. Glad we don't play them this year.

Let's also add in the fact that it was FSU's third game and BC's first. Conventional wisdom is that the greatest improvement occurs between the first and second games, meaning that FSU had their great improvement but BC hadn't yet had theirs. And they still beat formerly #6 ranked FSU by more than two touchdowns.

I can see why FSU is desperately trying to leave the ACC - if they can't even beat the middle-of-the-road conference opponents, maybe they really do need to find a new conference...

I think the PAC 2 has openings. OSU and WSU might be more than FSU can handle though.
