Cal is up 35-10 on #8 Miami in the 3rd Q.

Now 38-32, with about 1:50 left, with Cal punting away. Sure looked like targeting to me.

Me too. It met the definition of targeting to a tee.
That's it. Cal blew a 35-10 lead. Cal just sucks.

Cam Ward inevitably crunches down the field. Fernando Mendoza responds with three incomplete passes and a pick.
As hopeless as our team might look, I'd rather be a Stanford fan than a Cal fan right now.

Yep, misery loves company. Kal blew a 17-point lead going into the 4th quarter and lost 39-38.
Combine that with U$C's loss to Minnesota and that should give us a little schadenfreude.

Absolutely. Apparently it’s open season on college QBs… as much as I usually delight in seeing Cal lose games, I delight much less in seeing Miami players gloating over a dirty play that sent a talented QB to the medical tent. And yeah, I’m still Pac-12 loyal, so this stinks.

Alternate history makes it past the Yahoo editors, or a sophisticated troll? You decide:

Cal football put the cherry on top of a long and memorable day for the football program.
What started with fans gathering in the wee hours of the morning for ESPN's "College GameDay" visiting the campus for the first time ended with a late-night upset victory over No. 8 Miami.

When you voted in this election did you ride to the polling station on horseback or in a wagon with others, such as Pogge and Bobkk?

I'm sorry Cal loss, and we loved the whole Cal Game Day programming. Good for them. A brobdingnagian crowd showed up with the best signs ever and made Bay Area football look fun.

I didn't get around to posting this image when I saw it yesterday, but it's worthy of a look. Enjoy!
