Poke--

The software this board uses makes use of its internal censoring functions to replace objectionable language.  It's just a matter of what language you find objectionable :).

Southern CA becomes the University of South Central, their location in Los Angeles.  Personally, I'd prefer the shorter U$C.  The Fighting Irish school becomes the University of South Bend.  And so on.

That is hilarious!  I expect nothing less from the fanbase of a prestigious academic institution!

To this poster ^  Anyiam was having a great SR year, but had a season ending injury mid-season.

Yeah. If defenses try to stop one aspect of our offense then the other one will do very well.

Anyiam was doing well until he broke his foot in the Mizzou game.

Because the software is a beating.

ETA  apparently this is true, and I'm an idiot for trying to type the three letter initials again.

Welcome to the CardBoard! There are certain words that we deem too offensive to use in polite company, so we've substituted less offensive terms in their place.

There are several rival schools whose names get... well, adjusted, including the one you asked about, the one with the leprechaun mascot, and a couple of the state's flagship public universities. And there are people who get the same treatment (mainly the two head coaches who preceded Harbaugh), but you probably aren't going to have to worry about those. If you really want the name of one of these schools to look like what you type, try putting a period or two in between letters -- e.g. the University of South Central.

Nan3cy, Nan3cy, Nan3cy,

One of the (ahem) cardinal rules of the CardBoard is not to toy with the webmistress!

Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that the webmistress is occasionally drunk with power... :P

Ahh, sorry to hear about Anyiam...but Blackmon is more than capable of handling the additional load, it seems.

Now, injuries to the Stanford receiving corps--those have had more of an impact ><;;
