Stanford went 74 yards on the first drive for a TD then gained 23 more yards the rest of the half. The Cardinal only ran 24 total plays with 10 minutes of possession time. Oof.

The announcer just said at the start of this drive that Gulbranson was showing "good sovereignty over the Stanford offense". Gotta say that's the first time I've ever heard that word in a football broadcast.

Flintoft maybe just saved a TD on that return by getting awkwardly in the way.

Canes are now adjusted, and their pass rush is crushing our O-Line.  
They get the pick, and an easy convert for the TD from the 5 yard line.  
Under 4min MIAM 21, STAN 7... and we look befuddled, outmanned by their Defense.  

Since our Opening drive TD:   PUNT - PUNT - End of Half - PUNT - PUNT - INT.  
Our Offense since the first drive:  15 yards.

We can only laugh, because laughing is better than crying over how we have looked on offense after the scripted plays.
