What a bizzare statement. She's aggressive, unafraid as a freshman, and our success this season is gonna heavily depend on her leading this team. She's the highest ranked point guard recruit Stanford has had since Kiana Williams. Teammates love winners.
Teammates don't love it when you don't pass the ball to a wide open player on a fast break when you are double-teamed and force a bad shot. IMO she needs to share the ball more, that's all. You can be aggressive without hogging the ball.
She graduated from Holy Innocents Episcopal in Marietta, GA. Likely a small school where she pretty much was the basketball team. Whether she can broaden her game is an open question.

Somfai got her double-double.
We only have 3 assists in this game, none in the 2nd half.

Lepolo couldn’t be more open if she were a 7-Eleven

Swain made a nice assist to Chloe Clardy for a 3

What was that about Lepolo not being an offensive threat?

That's what we need. Nice.
Suddenly we start earning assists. And just as suddenly we go from behind by 1 to up by 12.

Agreed. She is by far the most polished of our frosh. She is really executing well and making high percentage plays in both ends. I think she's our most well roundrd frosh post since Nneka.

Right. Now 4 for Lepolo. I hope this gives her the confidence to pull the trigger more often when she's open.
