Well - this is a lesson for me. In coming up with my game score prediction, I was thinking about our likely scoring "ceiling" in a game. Obviously, I should've been thinking about the floor.....

NCAR is collapsing on the run up the middle.
Best Stat of Futility so far: NCAR is 0 for 5 on third down. Keeping us in the game.

Scintillating football, 3-3 at halftime as each Explosive Offense retires to their locker rooms to catch their breath.
An incredible 147 TOTAL YARDS by both teams combined has fans glued to their seats, in a game that could go to 3 OTs.
In the 1960s-70s, I remember NDAM highlights on Sundays (before ESPN),
where the legendary Lindsey Nelson would narrate: "After an exchange of punts, we move ahead to further action."
Right at home here.
Belichick might just head to the parking lot, out of boredom.
Can you imagine THIS compared to the games he has coached (Pats, 2000 to 2023)?

I guess if we want to feel better about ourselves, UNC has 47 yards of offense at the half… total, and three first downs.
By comparison our 100 yards of total offense and 11 first downs is a downright plethora. Pretty unbelievable that at the half, the two teams have combined for under 150 yards of offense.
This has all the excitement of a paint-drying competition.
