SkiBum80 - SkiBum80 - 11-02-2026

Season opening games today
Assist/TO’s
MBB 15/12
WBB 8/30
This happened a lot all last year
Same movie just being replayed
I half joked last year Coach P oughta go to some practices to see what Coach S doing right.
What’s that definition of just doing the same thing over and over and hoping for a different outcome?

I think Arizona's an average team We allowed way too many turnovers. We shouldn't predict a season based on a single game, but if this continues, I'd like to see a change, especially if rumors about team chemistry are true.

There were a whole bunch of posters who would have liked to see a change back in April, and we almost got one, too.

Over a hundred WBB teams in Division I have not yet played their first game and we can already give this season a nickname:  "The Apocalypse of John"

I watched the presser, and it looked to me like KP was very down. I think there are times where she is accepting of the outcome, doesn't take much accountability, for whatever reason, and she's able to put on a nice face and give the press all the platitudes. But in this one, she looked...defeated. We should have beaten Arizona. They are really not very good. It looked to me like she knows it, and on the heels of that terrible performance against UCSB, she might be in for a long night of serious soul searching. It could be a long and miserable year. I sure hope these players can dig deep and figure out a way to get some enjoyment out of this season.

Also...30 turnovers. 30! That's what you see in high school. I thought 20 TO's against UCSB was horrific, but they found a way to top it and then some.
