Come on Razor_Poke--have you ever been to a hostile Big 12 road game, or are you just a bandwagon fan? Much worse has happened in the Big 12 than a silly band playing.
We've harshly criticized Willingham, the SC band etc. for similar things. None of us used the "much worse has happened elsewhere" to justify their actions, so let's at least hold our band to the same standard. I can certainly understand why OSU fans may be unhappy about it.

My seats were not in a place where I could tell what the band was doing, but I could tell that many OSU people were mighty unhappy. I think they were fresh meat victims, that just did not anticipate the band's themes. I would think those in Oklahoma would have heard it all before, and would have just shrugged it off. OK ST << Oklahoma. Oklahoma << Texas. Oklahoma << California. Same themes, different state and set of schools.
So the real humor, at least for me, came from the OSU fan reactions. That was great!
I know in the past people have posted the site that outlines what LSJUMB's plans were for halftime. Could someone post that again.
Oh, and even in a loss, it was a great game. Since these bowl games mean so little, I had no problem leaving without wondering too much about the what ifs. Though I did appreciate that Stanford 2010 needed a last minute FG, and Stanford 2011 needed bad PAT to clear the bar to beat SC. If that Fiesta Bowl ending had happened during the SC game or the Big Game THAT would have been devastating.

That was a great game. I came away with nothing but respect for the Stanford football team. We OSU fans have genuine sympathy for the manner in which you lost the game. Remember, a missed fg as regulation expired led to our ISU loss and kept us out of New Orleans. We can feel your pain.
Objectively, this was obviously a very entertaining and exciting football game. Forget whatever happens with LSU/Bama -- THIS is the bowl game that everyone will remember from this year.
Congratulations on a great season and good luck next year.

No, I meant in the pre-game. I was on the field and couldn't hear the announcer was saying. Some kind of tribute to Oklahoma.
