How pathetic can they get? On the outside looking in, Kal fans take heart that....(wait for it) in Garnett's announcement show, the T-shirts from the various contenders were displayed behind Garnett and....well, we'll let the boys from Bear Insider take it from there:

I noticed a lot of Michigan tweets when I searched for Josh Garnett and @IamJoshG, but there's no way I was going to do likewise. Not only would it be a recruiting violation, but I feel that choosing a college is an important step for any high schooler, and it shouldn't be based on the tweets of some middle-aged sports fan.
We're picking up a lot of OL this year because we had been a little sparse in previous recruiting classes. Also, remember that there are five positions on the line, so five OL in a class is not that many. Our running game relies on a good line, and we're sending linemen to the NFL, so good linemen are coming our way.

Great news. Seems like Garnett is intelligent, aggressive and skillful -- good combination for an OL. Maybe DeCastro can give him some pearls of wisdom before he heads to the NFL.

I was more interested in "shock" than "some", to be honest. The recruiting world is already anticipating a potential big finish to the class. Does Garnett know something the rest of the recruiting world doesn't?
