I was hoping for a press release in which David Shaw, the Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football, would announce that Josh Nunes had been named to the Spider 3 Y Banana Endowed Position of Offensive Backfield Coordination.

I hope he's half right and that the back-up does see a lot of playing time....because we are blowing teams out and Nunes takes a seat midway through the third quarter.

I am mad about this decision. Nottingham was an exciting player who looked like he had nearly the same level of physical ability as Luck. This decision seems like boss egos gone awry. Honestly, Shaw, HC, Hamilton, OC, and Mason, DC are not that impressive. They are just blowing smoke up each others asses, as managers often do as they sink the ship. After two games of preseason, it looks like Luck might have been the best college QB of all time. And after Harbaugh's year with the 49ers, he looks like the best HC in football. In short:

Last years good season could be just Luck and Harbaugh.  And that's coming from a Stanford grad and fan.
