I like where we are, see how the second half goes. It will be challenging to beat these guys twice.

two bad long snaps . . . one for I think 2nd extra point which was good . . . but 2nd got Zych hurt. He is also the holder . . . hope he comes back!!!

Looking at the halftime stats, most everything favors Stanford but the game feels much closer than that.
On defense, the tackling needs to be surer and the secondary needs to go into lockdown mode.
On offense, roll out Hogan more because he seems to see the field better when he does that. And receivers? CATCH THE DAMN BALL!!

I'm glad we're up by 11 but we had the opportunity to be up by 17 or 21. I'm hopeful we can continue to contain Hundley and Franklin, but it won't be easy. Part of our defensive dominance is tied to the field position we've gotten from our punting unit. HopefullyZychlinski was only shaken up and can return.

Field reporter for FOX reported that Zychlinski will not be back

So did that punt just burn a redshirt for Ben Rhymes?

That run was "Tobey-esque." Beautiful.

Who held that extra point?

Warm up the bus.

DUDE! Not yet!!
I just ran into the backyard and picked as many four-leaf clovers as I could find. And then I ran next door, kidnapped the neighbor's rabbit, and took one of its feet ... all for good luck.

My guess for what Hundley will work on for the next 6 days: throwing the ball away instead of taking the sack.

That score proves the defense can't let up in its intensity

During games against schools notable recruits chose over Stanford, I always wonder what's going through their heads. What's going through Jordan Zumwalt's head whenever h his team gets whipped by Stanford? I guess the theory of cognitive dissonance would dictate people rationalize their decisions, but you gotta think there's some regret in there.

At a minimum, they'll try to make us expend a lot of effort holding onto the win. Of course, that goes both ways.

good god. picked off?!!  [[P.S.: Can someone tell me what nullified that UCLA Pick? I missed it.]]
also, our runs go NOWHERE. Adjust that.
And they are "resting" Taylor? huh. (I did want to say, I am happy when I see more diversity in our personnel.)

Agreed.
I understand the rationale but I'm getting nervous that the coaches have shut down Stepfan for the fourth quarter

INT by UGLY was negated by defensive holding on Toilolo. Was first thinking it was a kind of a bailout call by the refs but replays showed the defender was pulling on Toilolo's jersey while the ball was in the air.

Rhyne. I don't know, but he did play last year. Filled in on kickoffs while Williamson was out.

Sorry, has someone heard the actual Z. injury specified? Or just silence?
