How convenient -- none of them seem to remember that ND wouldn't have even been in that game if refs were universally good.

Q: How do you make Notre.Dame-style eggs?
A: Put them in a bigger bowl than you should and then beat them for three hours.

It wasn't even beautiful...it was one of the uglier undefeated seasons in recent memory. Overtime non-win against Stanford and a multiple-OT referee-gifted non-win against Pitt, of all teams. Sigh.

Poor guy--he gets partial credit for acknowledging early on that ND wasn't going to win the trenches, but he's deluded if he thinks ND can fix those OL/DL issues and compete for a NCG berth next year.
