The offense is definitely not firing on all cylinders.

I think the defense is going to have to win this game.

defense saved us on that possession. It\'s definitely improved.

Stepfan Taylor always looks close to breaking off a big run but never puts together that final burst to get it.

Re: What a day for Stanford not to bring the A gam - yvonne - 09-25-2010

"love it"

not even a pretense of objectivity.  You love that run and 15-yard penalty, too?

This game is definitely not going as everyone predicted.

Would like to see our offense go off every week, but it\'s really nice to see our defense playing absolutely stellar.

Taylor with another nice run...hopefully we\'re wearing em down up front and our running game can start to get chunks.

You guys see that one handed Luck grab on the sideline when ND threw it out of bounds?

I wonder if any of our RB\'s can toss a ball....Line up Luck wide in the WildToby formation (what\'s our new name for that formation?), and send him deep.

Re: What a day for Stanford not to bring the A gam - dabigv13 - 09-25-2010

INCREDIBLE STOP!

Our defense is playing out of their skulls.

Re: What a day for Stanford not to bring the A gam - yvonne - 09-25-2010

THAT\'S what they get for that insult!

4th and 1 at the what? 50?

Why not Marecic? he does everything else.

Re: What a day for Stanford not to bring the A gam - yvonne - 09-25-2010

run it. run it. run it. run it.

Re: What a day for Stanford not to bring the A gam - dabigv13 - 09-25-2010

Taylor has been running with some authority. I\'d like to see him bull his way in here, but a Luck TD would be nice for Voldemort purposes.

Re: What a day for Stanford not to bring the A gam - yvonne - 09-25-2010

I actually liked how we didn\'t get in right away on that series. Every down meant another 20 seconds to one minute off the clock.

Re: What a day for Stanford not to bring the A gam - yvonne - 09-25-2010

Told ya Marecic did everything!

Re: What a day for Stanford not to bring the A gam - Pastor - 09-25-2010

loneliest man on the field?  The Stanford punter.

Re: What a day for Stanford not to bring the A gam - dabigv13 - 09-25-2010

Marecic with the pick 6....I smell some Sportscenter love.

34-6, gotta love it - JohnR34231 - 09-25-2010

JH has definitely cured our tendency to play soft in the second half.

Hey! he got play once! :)

Re: What a day for Stanford not to bring the A gam - rwait08 - 09-25-2010

... and the announcers gush over ND\'s ability to score a touchdown against our second-string defense.  Congrats, guys!

Re: What a day for Stanford not to bring the A gam - yvonne - 09-25-2010

Did the announcer really say, "That\'s what I\'m talking about" regarding a big ND reception?

Wait. Why did I ask that?

Re: What a day for Stanford not to bring the A gam - CompSci87 - 09-25-2010

The announcers are pretty annoying as they yap endlessly about why McGillicuddy changed to #41. He\'s playing tight end -- sure, a blocking tight end who probably won\'t get thrown the ball -- but it\'s an eligible receiver position. So giving him a number in the 40\'s avoids the need for him to report to the officials as eligible on every play. D\'oh.
