Some schoolmates of mine made t-shirts honoring 1990 Big Game.  It was an elaborate stick figure cartoon explaining the Revenge of the Play.  I thought it was cool, but didn't want to buy a shirt honoring one game.  I wish I had now, but it wouldn't have lasted this long.  What I should have done is buy one and save it for Big Game Watch Parties as an old alum because the Revenge of the Play has disappeared from the memory of all but the most die hard fans or the ones that were there.

BTW is there a word for people that were at school with you at the same time but weren't necessarily the same class? I can't find one.  If it doesn't exist, it should.

I have a Revenge of the Play shirt because it is only worn during Big Game week.

Cheers,

I have two shirts commemorating that game. One is the stick figure one Publius described, and the other is Twelve Seconds Over Berkeley, which takes a bird's eye view of the last seconds of the game.

I was debating between that and schoolmates. Schoolmates seemed more precise because contemporaries is a broader word, but I guess it isn't in context.  Still think there should be one word that covers the concept.

Schoolmates would be apropriate if they hung out or worked together. If you only know that their time overlapped, contemporaries would be more appropriate.
