teejers1 - if there's to be a need for Good Grief 2 - Nostril Nostradamus, we'll know after the Oregon game.
Agreed that Weeden, Foles, Moore, Case Keenum, RG3, and hell, even Barkley will likely put up greater raw offensive numbers than Andrew, so exposure and big game performance will be key. We'll need guys like Gemmell to keep the focus on 'most valuable' and 'most outstanding'.
If Wilson were to win with near equivalent stats, it would suck like it did in 2009 when Toby was runner up to the SEC publicity machine. I'm not convinced it would happen, just considering options for November & December.

Um.. no. Looks like more wildcat in the offing. From ESPN's Stanford blog:
More Wildcat to come
Shaw said he likes what hes seen so far out of Gaffney when he runs the Wildcat formation.
Hes got the voice to bark out the signal, Shaw said. Hes got great hands if the snap is not perfect. Hes got great hand-eye coordination. Hes a physical, between-the-tackles type of runner and its a way to ensure we get him the ball.
And as a baseball player youd imagine he can throw.
Not very well, Shaw confessed with a laugh. He says he can. Ive seen him throw a baseball and hes got a rocket. But this is a different deal. Some guys cant throw well with shoulder pads. Hes wearing running back pads, not quarterback pads.
