I always wonder about what kinds of battles go on at the bottoms of those piles... down there I think there are no rules.

Just the second time in 28 games that MSU has given up double digit points in first quarter. They've given up 29 first quarter points all season, now 10 to Stanford.
Our kicker...two touchbacks, a FG, an extra point. Perfect.

The defense has to be wary of Cook scrambling, but the secondary seems to be very effective blanketing the Spartan receivers. And when it takes time to throw the ball, we know it's not going to end well for qbs sitting in the pocket.

That PI call is clearly wrong. It cannot be defensive PI if the ball was clearly uncatchable. That throw was clearly uncatchable.
