Yeah, the benefits of a single obsessed individual using her professional skills...basically for free.
Of course, if you think about it, she might be doing this out of love (or obsession) but if we all want to keep enjoying that, we all need to pay for a bodyguard / nanny to keep her safe and healthy.

And it would be well worth it.

Redrum, I am licensed as personal protection for the State of AZ, so if Kathy ends up here I can take on those duties. I refuse to jump through the hoops to get that license in CA though!

The trainwreck that is the Bootleg right now is strangely compelling.
As that crippled site coughs and spits in the ether and only sporadically presents something interactive to its subscriber base, my mind can't help but imagine what is going on in the HQ offices of whatever outfit owns the Scout operation now. Pandemonium. Frustration/anger. Disgust. Engineering Mutiny?
The possibilities are endless . . .

Yeah, the site is back down again. The bright side is that they have plenty of experience dealing with poor design, engineering failures, lousy execution and angry customers.

I'm willing ton answer this.
The original team and much of the original engineering staff has reacquired the assets of the company. Fox ran the company in Los Angeles, and did not do anything with it except keep it running. (Very little innovation during its ownership.)
They are moving operations back to Seattle. They need to recreate all of the infrastructure and move it off of Fox servers to their own world. All while building a team. It's a bit chaotic. Meanwhile each of the individual sites (like the Bootleg) is like its own fiefdom, and adapting on its own terms.
They are just trying to tread water.
