In all of this discussion of the running back logjam, lets not forget Rick Seale, who is another likely candidate for a DB position. Â As I recall USC wanted hm primarily as a CB. Â While he may have been swayed to Stanford because JH offered him a shot at RB, I wonder if he will have second thoughts once he sees that he has a better chance of making it onto the field on defense. Â (On the other hand, if he IS good enough next year to fight through the competition to get on the field as a RB, he must be very special.)

I\'ve been thinking about this potential logjam as well. Â While it makes no sense to count your commitments until they\'ve hatched, I worry that Wilkerson and company (and by the way, I LOOOOVE Anthony Wilkerson) might be scaring away Amir Carlisle, probably the top running back commit. Â

Wilkerson looked pretty awesome in that game. I like him way better than taylor. Taylor is serviceable, but Wilkerson is starting to look like a future All-American. Plus, taylor\'s personality is odd and annoying. Wilkerson seems like a more quiet, humble, but passionate person. I\'m definitely a Wilkerson fan.
As for the recruits...have you seen the Harvey Langi tape? He reminds me of Larry Johnson for the chiefs, but he\'s more graceful. He\'s a force of nature. He stays Stanford is his top choice. I\'m hopeful that he\'ll play for us, log jam or not.

Quote:Same with Toby Gerhart - USC wanted him as a fullback.
I think they wanted him as a linebacker, didn\'t they?
