We are deep on defense.  I don't see the Aggies scoring a single point, even against our #2s and #3s.  I've got us crossing the line a lucky seven times. Five of those come from our O, 2 come from our D. :D

BTW:  I think we could score in the 70s, but Shaw won't let that happen.  He will put the brakes on the offense if it's a blowout.

Five offensive scores will happen, even if we keep it on the ground.  I've got the D scoring twice.  That's 7 x 7 = 49.

Hogan and his heroes run up the score so we see Crower and Burns.  The 3rd unit defense lets the ag school score a couple field goals late in the game.  We finalize exorcise the ghost of Idiotface.

51-9.  I'd LOVE to see Crower get some meaningful minutes where he gets to air it out, not just repeatedly hand it off.  His timing and soft touch in high school reminded me of Joe Montana.  Plus he's been a model person off the field.  He swore allegiance to Stanford even after Harbaugh left and even though he hasn't had an opportunity once Hogan took over.

Stanford is not built to run up the score--if we get a lead you can count on Shaw running the clock as much as possible.  Four touchdowns and two field goals sounds about right.

Davis's strength is the running game--which will be neutralized.  It will score a touchdown and field goal off of a couple of defensive breakdowns or offensive turnovers, as we get the bugs worked out.

Stanford 37,  The team that Harris couldn't beat 13

Shaw runs power left, power right and power on any down or distance.  Davi.s is worn down in the second half.  Fans grumble that it took too long to put the game away but Shaw doesn't care.  He's looking ahead and wants to see his o-line gel and his QB go to the locker room with an (almost) clean jersey.

Several miscues let Davis score on short fields .
