Re: TV coverage today - CompSci87 - 11-22-2014

Fox Sports Go android app crashes instantly trying to open the game. Maybe because my Nexus 5 was just upgraded to Lollipop (Android 5.0). Arrgh. Works on my Linux laptop though.

Re: TV coverage today - BostonCard - 11-22-2014

My fox sports go app doesn't show it... When I click, it goes to the stupid Oklahoma kansas blowout, and says the game will start at 2:10.  What a clustercopulation.

You have to sign on through your cable provider.  I guess once in the distant past (now forgotten) I set this up.  It works for me.  But I am burning mad over the idiocy that has the Big Game not appearing on television in the Bay Area so that a blowout Oklahoma game can be featured.  It is simply irrational.

Consider giving up on Fox & Comcast - M T - 11-22-2014

At this point, I'm thinking about giving up on Fox & Comcast and waiting for the 60-minute version on PAC-12 channel!

Why should I watch the ads on Fox?  Maybe not watching them  is the only way for them to hear from us.

Fox Deportes? Thats the feed Im watching on the app but perhaps theres a channel as well. Much more entertaining announcing btw.

Re: TV coverage today - 81alum - 11-22-2014

It is back on Fox Sports 1.  Back to the original schedule.  Whew.

Re: TV coverage today - TreeWeird - 11-22-2014

Did Fox have no ability to split FS1 into regional markets?  Since Comcast bay area only has FS1, I went to a sports bar for the first quarter, then back home when the Oklahoma game ended.

Hate Fox!

Re: TV coverage today - Bruce Wang - 11-23-2014

The feature of the delayed broadcast bug was that we were spared a replay of The So-Called Play.  The Boston Big Game Watch bar claimed that nobody in the Northeast could see the start of Big Game.  Several Stanford alums including myself pulled out their phones and started streaming the game.  I told the bartender you guys really need an AppleTV and a Chromecast in situations like this.  None of the Kal fans (who turned out in force this year though sans 8 piece band) could figure out how to do this.  I know we're better at technology than they are, but come on.

Well, anybody who could get FS2 could have watched the first quarter. Granted, that seems to be only a few dozen customers, as its a rather obscure channel not on many packages. Would have thought a sports bar would have been among the few dozen.

I miss the Boston Big Game parties. Somehow now that it's a 90 minute drive plus having a little one and an east coast alum wife, it doesn't work anymore.
