Any fun nicknames?

One Spanish commentator gave the internet the immortal EL TRACTORCITO.

Noor Davis has been getting a surprising amount of burn so far.

I'm kind of disappointed it's not "GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!"

Or a reasonable facsimile.

Boy, I just loved that little punt return by CMac.
Great initial burst to get rid of one defender, slight change of direction to avoid the second guy, great speed, and then safely steps out of bounds to avoid a hit.

It was super-spectacular or anything, just a damn good solit punt return. I love the guy :)

For folks streaming the Spanish language ESPN stream, you could mute that audio and stream KZSU. You can pause KZSU to sync with the video.

That was Barry Sanders-like

It is if you're sitting in the stands. Brrr!  :P

Re: Maryland game thread - washingtonismoney - 12-30-2014

I guess this first half hasn't been a bad performance.

Re: Maryland game thread - Cardinal96 - 12-30-2014

It is amazing how much better Hogan looks when our offensive line is providing protection and we have a credible run game.  I love how we are using McCaffrey.  We are taking them to the wood shed.

Think I underestimated The Good Guys in my score prediction ...

Re: Maryland game thread - fullmetal - 12-30-2014

McCaffrey has saved our bacon already with that unplanned reverse.  How does Cajuste get beat on his blocking assignment?  Never mind, McCaffrey will just reverse the field and run the other way for a first down and more...

Re: Maryland game thread - needle - 12-30-2014

So do we have to worry about Shaw next year just calling swing pass after swing pass to McCaffrey? (That is not a serious question, but I'm not an emoticon guy.)

Great, great, great to see three TEs involved in the receiving game again.

Hogan looked electric on his long run, and he also had a nice block. Rooting for him harder than ever.

A fun night of television.

Re: Maryland game thread - akCard - 12-30-2014

Cable service went out about the middle of halftime (TV screen froze while Lou "Elmer Fudd" Holtz was mid-sentence; judt about lost my dinner) and I missed the start of 3rd quarter. What happened??

Re: Maryland game thread - ChicagoCard - 12-30-2014

Maryland capitulating basically. Phillips a sack, Lloyd a blocked punt.

Re: Maryland game thread - Kathy - 12-30-2014

We scored again. It's 35-7. Williamson missed a FG, though.

KZSU guys essentially saying the same thing. Yeah it's a big lead but I hope they're not counting eggs before they've hatched. Fumble. Missed field goal (albeit in windy conditions). I want the team to finish off the Terps.

Very un-cardboard-like...

Re: Maryland game thread - fullmetal - 12-30-2014

Beating the terps up and down the field...I think Stanford is attempting to exorcise the demons of this season.

Just as I type that, Stanford gives up a kickoff return for a Maryland TD.
