BobK- Nice to know that the potential decision to leave Stanford is due to a graduate school program that he is excited about because having a Skov disenchanted with Stanford raised concerns with me given family history.

FWIW, Skov was on the sideline during the spring game, wearing his jersey and shorts and sandals. He seemed to have a wrap of some kind on his lower leg.

I had the same reaction. I suspect he either saw the writing on the wall that he was going to lose playing time to Marx or he wants a chance to play in GT's triple option -- a rare offense in modern college football that allows a FB to play a role beyond just blocking and obvious short-yardage situations.Â

No information to back it, but I think this is more about him realizing/being told after spring ball that his role would be more limited next season than in the past. He got his degree and if he can get on the field somewhere else and get someone to pay for his master's then I wish him good luck.
