I hope both Scarlett brothers end up contributing. The bond between players is close--brothers on the team, surely even closer. It must be pretty special to spend a year on the team with family.

I rather like this one.
He says a lot of things about Stanford that I would like our opponents to say.
More importantly, I think he gets the spirit of things roughly right despite a rather inordinate number of mistakes.

I liked this one too. I had to doublecheck to make sure it wasn't coming from one of our own!

A well considered write up that shows the author did some good research. I wish that he had included a section evaluating and projecting the coaches' performance as well as the offense and defense.
Two really good insights - Kevin Hogan not only has never defeated USC. He has never even thrown a TD pass against the Trojans. And Stanford had a negative turnover margin in 2014 for the first time since 2008.

The Fremeau chart is kind of interesting.
I think that the chart is chronological through each season; but if so it gives some odd results.
The best and worst games of each year.
2010: worst 37-35 win over S.-C.; best 48-14 stomping of c.a.l.
2011: worst 45-19 win over UCLA; best 38-41 loss to Okie St. in Fiesta Bowl
2013: worst 24-17 win over WSU; best 17-14 win over Oregon
2014: worst 34-20 win over Army; best 38-14 win over ASU in conf championship
2015: worst 14-17 loss to und; best 31-10 win over UCLA
Some of those are obvious. 2011 is a bit weird.

Kalambayi's perhaps the most athletic pass rusher we've had. Seems like a solid pick to me.
