I didn't mean D referring to the defense, I meant D the point that Washington came to play and we didn't.
I have a very difficult time believing they are this much better than us.

What did Walsh say before UW folded, spindled, and mutilate his fourth team? It's only a couple of hours.
UW playing well and playing inspired, but Stanford looks awful.
But hey FSU had L'Ville drop half a dollar on them. It happens.

Is Peteresen trolling us? It's just diplomatic coach-speak, but I think when the domination is that total, you are allowed to say that we didn't come out to play today. There really isn't anything to praise from our side, other than "They are lining up every play"

It's loud out there. Not a surprise we are having issues with false starts and delays of game. Also, getting routinely beaten in one-on-one matchups leads to PI's on defense and holding calls on offense. The penalties are a sign that we are getting manhandled.

I no longer view delay of game penalties as the fault of the QB. Hasn't been a QB in the Harbaugh/Shaw era who didn't have trouble calling plays in time.
