Quote:Defense hasn't been great, but they have made key plays when it has counted.  And another UCLA penalty takes a first down conversion off the board.  Thank you Mora.

They're getting beat in places, but they're also wrapping up nicely to stop some big plays and extra yards (that big run by Perkins excluded, of course)

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - jacketree - 10-15-2015

What do y'all think about choosing to receive opening KO?  Pretty old school.

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - Stymie - 10-15-2015

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - needle - 10-15-2015

Best (run) blocking I've ever seen from a Stanford team.

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - FarmBoy - 10-15-2015

Consider the ToP start, it's amazing how Stanford completely flipped that equation by the end of the half. They now have 2:1 ToP.

I love watching the methodical, playing in a phone booth offense when it's Stanford, but I suspect if it were anotehr team, I would be annoyed at how "boring" they played.

Thank you Bruins.

Okay Kenny Walker, you just took this whole Mafia thing a little bit too far.

Goodbye, cazz'.

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - PalmTree - 10-15-2015

Good thing they booted his a33, because that was truly a punka33 hit

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - Stymie - 10-15-2015

Rosen is really good, but I'm glad we don't have him.

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - jacketree - 10-15-2015

SamAtoms doesn't woof; Stanford would have have recovered.

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - washingtonismoney - 10-15-2015

Stanford's defense even with Palma and Martinez is too porous to feel secure with an 18 point lead. Without...
