Looks like I was wrong when I doubted that teams would just start pooching it. The offense needs to make them pay though.

They keep run blitzing us....running into the heart of it is not the answer. Now that we're in predictable downs it makes throwing it a lot harder.

Normally you'd call a screen to deal with the defense's overpursuit. Our first one resulted in a sack; our second screen gave us one yard thanks only to a great individual effort by McCaffrey.

We are not taking advantage of their run blitzing well. More peripheral screens, play action, or playing the middle of the field on a short throw.

I'm not really sure what the answer is. They're whipping our OL and when that happens there's not much you can do. The OL just needs to get it together.

I'm pretty sure WSU would prefer their Air Raid attack to be hitting. We will win a grind it out game. I'm sure Cougar fans are worried.
