Your wish is Shaw's command.

Our O line just can't block.

Re: Stanford - Arizona game thread - BostonCard - 10-29-2016

Two in a row.  Not sure why we do that.  I get going to the same play late in the game when the D is tired and can't stop it.  BUt early, would have been nice to try something different.

Nice blitz pickup by Love on third down.

Re: Stanford - Arizona game thread - BostonCard - 10-29-2016

I believe that is the third sack.  That one was on the line.

Re: Stanford - Arizona game thread - ThePassionOfTheChryst - 10-29-2016

Man what a porous line.

Re: Stanford - Arizona game thread - ThePassionOfTheChryst - 10-29-2016

Love's speed can be lethal if he's given space to run. This line isn't giving anyone any space to run, however.

Re: Stanford - Arizona game thread - BostonCard - 10-29-2016

And we punt again.  Great play to down it on the two by Owusu.

OL coach must be fired. Period. Worst Stanford OL in 20 years

Re: Stanford - Arizona game thread - martyup - 10-29-2016

This AZ team is the worst team in the Pac-12.  We are terrible on offense.  WTF?

Same OL coach as last year, when we had one of the best lines in the country.  Did someone kidnap him and replace him with an incompetent?

SCORELESS.

Re: Stanford - Arizona game thread - BostonCard - 10-29-2016

72 yards in the first quarter.  COmbined.

Re: Stanford - Arizona game thread - BostonCard - 10-29-2016

Lombardi sums it up thusly....

Quote:Through one quarter, Stanford's QB change has not worked. The Cardinal are only mustering 2.4 yards per play against an Arizona defense that had given up an average of 6.3 entering this game. Keller Chryst is taking frequent hits -- just like Ryan Burns did.

Next person our LT blocks will be the first.  Run or pass.  Unreal.

We're replacing 3/5 spots on the line AND have a bunch of injuries. It's not exactly shocking that the line is having issues, OL injuries are extremely challenging to overcome even with the best Pro teams.
