The ESPN Other Cup has updated its standings too. Stanford men and women both lead.

Crazy how much more championships matter for that one. We lead UNC 440 to 320 for the Directors Cup but 78 to 24 (men) and 83 to 36 (women). Last year the winning women's school was USC with 96 points, so we're already only 13 points away from topping the winning point total from last year!

After five years, another round of charges from NCAA in UNC academic fraud case -

There is something really weird about this case that any impact for the school has been pushed back and pushed back. It is ridiculous. At some point we need to agree whether or not schools are obliged to provide any education whatsoever to their athletes (and in this case their students as well).

Yesterday's Sun Bowl victory guarantees the Cardinal at least 45 Cup points, making the unofficial Fall total 485 points. They have a bit more upside based on 58.5 points for their current 16th place ranking in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
What a strong close by Stanford athletics after early tournament exits by WSOC and WFH.
Geaux Cardinal!
