Stanford was -5 for the day through 8 holes. Played the next 10 holes in +15 which pretty well sinks any chance of winning the team title.
Stanford's 3 lowest scorers are all frosh, led by Lee who is in 3rd. Danielson has been top 10 in her last 4 tournaments, but is struggling this week.
UCLA's Lilia Vu has pulled well in front for the individual title. If she wins, it will be her 4th tournament individual victory in a row. UCLA seems not to miss their former #1 Bronte Law who left the team in December to turn pro. Everyone else has certainly stepped up. They are the team to beat right now.

Tough day for the ladies. In third but now no realistic shot of moving up and will need to play well tomorrow to hold onto their spot.

Just past halfway, the Cardinal are at -6 for today, gaining ten strokes on second-place Colorado. However, UCLA is -5 for the day, currently 18 strokes ahead of the Cardinal. Fourth-place Arizona is three strokes behind Stanford.

As they have played all week, the final 10 holes were brutally tough.Â
Yesterday, Stanford was -5 for the first 8 holes, +15 for the final 10. Today, they went -6/+8. Final total of 290, Stanford's best of the week and good enough to close on Colorado for 2nd place.
Now we await the committee's announcement on Monday tomorrow of Stanford's regional assignment - Athens, Albuquerque, Lubbock or Columbus.

Colorado will finish at +19 in second place. Stanford scored +20 for third.

Snow wiped out the play today. Cardinal sits in 3rd after two rounds. I suppose they will try to play 36 on Sunday to crown a champion, but the snow has to melt first...forecast calls for sunshine and low 50s. Maybe they will shorten it to 54 holes.

Big move today. Halfway through Round 3, the Cardinal stand solidly in second place with -9 so far today. They're two strokes behind first-place Oregon and five strokes ahead of Washington.

Furious rally by our boys today but came up just short. Gained 16 strokes on UW to easily pass them for 2nd but fell 3 short of Oregon.
Also 3 players finished in the top 10 and 4 players in the top 20.
