Didn't realize it, but the announcers were right. We are the fifth least penalized team FBS, 5.1 penalties per game for 37 yards per game. We also have the 14th highest opponent penalties (6.8/game for 70 yards), probably a few of them on defensive PI from DB's who can't handle our receivers.

Good to see Love running well. Hoping he finishes strong. He made a brobdingnagian sacrifice financially to come back. He probably has dropped a fair bit. But if he can finish strong and have a good combine maybe he moves up a bit.

Good to hear! Who will punt next year? Sanborn? Both Bailey and Beall were honored with the seniors, so I assume both are gone.

I'm occupying my seat in 112. A couple of pregame notes for you at home:

-saw Tyrone decked up on Stanford gear on the mezzanine.
-JJAW announced in senior tribute before kickoff. I think we knew he's going to declare ahead of time.

Nice first quarter: 219 total yards; Costello is 11/16 for 154 yards passing with one touchdown; 65 yards rushing on only 7 runs.

Aside from that bonehead play where we just decided not to cover a receiver, the defense has played well.

I mean, it would be surprising if he came back, but IIRC other players have walked twice. Shaw always tells the RS Juniors that if they're not sure to just walk.

LOL, that one faked out everyone, including the cameraman.

It's amazing how much better the playcalling gets when the defense kind of sucks.
