Didn't like Shelly. Stevens was a blond and I never liked blondes. Ava Gardner was the Babe Ruth of older actresses. Experienced (Mickey Rooney, Sinatra and who knows how many more). She worked as a model at I Magnin in Beverly Hills for my mom who was a buyer.
Also Rita Hayworth, Dorothy McGuire and Katy Jurado before she got fat.

No but I had a legit shot at Lauren Hutton. Amazing gap tooth mouth that was a complete turn on. I like to think that I came close in the bar at the Chateau Marmont back in my Hollywood days.

No, Dick McBride. I thought he played QB at CP, but this article says he was a DB. Great guy.

Isn't it amazing how there is a clear correlation between sucking and injury attrition?
It's noble for coaches to not make excuses about injuries leading to losing games, but at a certain point, that Cal, Stanford, Colorado, and USC have reached, they take a toll and really rightfully should be acknowledged.
It was alarming to see USC down to one RB last week and being forced to play Amon Ra St. Brown at RB just to give Frosh Christon some rest. They lost to Oregon in part because they had no real run game to lean on and had a depleted secondary.
Cal and Stanford lost games playing their 3rd QBs among OL injury carnage. And Sam's post about Colorado injuries explains a lot about their season.
