BobK, is the brace the (only) evidence of a "little operation", or did you hear something more specific?  A brace could just be for protection of a suspect knee.

I went to the WWP game yesterday, and thought I'd catch the middle half of the MBB game.  When I walked up to the ticket booth, I got a bad case of sticker shock when the first price listed was $145!   I decided not to go in, and instead watched a little of men's tennis (win over UCLA).  Congrats to the MBB team on a possibly important win.  I expect that helps for getting to the NCAA tourney.   (Btw, Stanford WWP won their two games yesterday. Up 9-6 on Cal at start of 4thQ today.  On the Michigan roster, but apparently not at the game was a daughter of their head football coach.)

Often, the Cardboard seems to sound like the camper in "Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh".    I can't imagine what the Cardboard would be saying if we had the talent & expectations of Oregon WBB and then had their 2 losses.  Or if we were fans of Oregon MBB & lost the game yesterday.

I wish Oregon WBB all the best luck against UConn tomorrow afternoon.  Actually, I hope Oregon needs no luck. I probably can't watch it live due to work, but I will record it.  (So. Carolina is easily beating Tenn as I type.)
