RE: Sac St game thread - CompSci87 - 09-16-2023

The knee down call was made from replay review, according to what I heard over the PA on the broadcast. Maybe one can't challenge and make them review it again? Or maybe the staff believed the review. However, the call did seem wrong to me from the replay view shown on TV.

Why did we not challenge?!?
They KZSU announcers said the td was overturned by the immediate video replay officials on TDs and turnovers.

Hey, we are up 23-20. There still is hope.
The second half has been all Karty.

Even worse if it was from upstairs.
They should have had indisputable evidence, not sure how that call is made.

Oh well, defense will have to come up big

Just getting to OT would be a good deal at this point.

I sure am happy I just tuned into the game. </sarc>

RE: Sac St game thread - martyup - 09-16-2023

This will be the first FCS team to beat an FBS team this season.

Painful. Slow. Guys out of position. Can't close on tackles for loss.

RE: Sac St game thread - 82lsju - 09-16-2023

if we get a TD do we go for 2??

There’s been 3 so far in 2023…

Southern Illinois over Northern Illinois
Fordham over Buffalo
Idaho over Nevada

So the Hawaii win was likely the glory moment of TT's first season.
Given the quality in the Pac-12 UofA is probably the last realistic chance for a win.
