Plus the Skov fumble (probably would've gotten a TD), and a missed FG....that's 24 points we coulda had...

Was that as bad of a non call as it looked in person?

Has David Shaw done something to piss off the refs? The calls against us this year are just getting ridiculous!

Yeah.

Probably the opposite. They take advantage of the nice guy.

Remember it's just the half. We're on pace for 8 penalties and 90 yards which is bad. And already a fifth penalty on our first offensive series. And the foot shooting continues.
What's frustrating me is that the only difference between this and the Notre dame game is that wSU has a much worse defense and the weather is better.Â

This is the most frustrating Stanford team to watch in years. There is such a disparity between the product we put out on the field and what we are capable of. We are keeping a much worse Washington State team in this game and our mistakes could end up costing us this game.

17 points may not be enough to win this game.

I think we are at a big point in this game. We can either run away with it here, or continue to shoot ourselves in the foot and give WSU a chance to win. We've had three games like that this year, we lost to USC and Notre Dame, and just barely beat Washington. I'm hoping we have a nice long TD drive and then our defense is well rested and shuts the door...

Hallelujah, we finished a drive! A little bit of breathing room now...

Taboada is a great red-zone option. He looks to have great hands.

How about 24? :)

I am not sure what Barry Sanders needs to do to get more carries. He has six carries for 68 yards. Feed him the rock!!

The days of Wazzu being an automatic win/get a lead and they roll over days are gone. Utah had a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and I think most of our fans and some of our team just figured, "it's Wazzu, they will take their ass kicking and go home".Â
That isn't Mike Leach's Wazzu. They don't quit, they play to the end and the Stanford O, D and ST will have to bring everything against WSU.
Best of luck and see you on 11/15!

Five in the box, of course the run works.

And yet, another drive where we get to within the five and we dont pound it in with our running game.

They should adjust that field goal line depending on the score. If we are up by 30, that line could go back to the 50. If it's close, the line should be at the 5.
